Redesigned Settings page — The settings page now uses structured sections with clearer headings, descriptions, and visual grouping, making it easier to find and understand each option.
Real-time update status — A new status indicator shows exactly where things stand: checking for updates, downloading (with a progress bar), ready to install, up to date, or not yet checked. This appears both in the Settings page and in the sidebar.
Whisper backend hints — Each backend option now includes a helpful hint (e.g., "Recommended" for Auto, "NVIDIA" for CUDA, "Apple" for Metal) so you can pick the best one for your hardware at a glance.
Smoother update animations — The update status row in the sidebar now animates in and out smoothly when an update is being downloaded or is ready to install.

Clearer visual feedback — A colored status dot (green for up to date, amber for an available update, gray for unknown) gives an instant read on your update state.
Progress bar for downloads — While an update is downloading, a progress bar shows the percentage complete.
Release script safety — The release script now asks for confirmation before republishing an existing tag, and automatic deletion of stale releases/tags has been disabled to prevent accidental data loss.
Dependency updates — Updated React to 19.2.7, react-router to 7.17.0, and other dependencies for better stability and compatibility.

Fixed release note fetching and patching logic for more reliable automated release notes.
Corrected the release script's usage message to include the refresh option.
Various CI/CD workflow fixes to ensure releases publish correctly with proper release bodies and API keys.
